ABOUT ME

I love all things turquoise! Having gravitated toward different styles and tastes my entire life, turquoise has always been constant.  Designing and creating unique handcrafted gifts fits me perfectly. During the pandemic in 2020, I took a crafting class for fun, and that's all it took.
For two years I focused on learning to design handcrafted gifts. 
Some of my creations include:

• handmade greeting cards

• personalized engraved items
• glass blocks
• etched wine bottles... and more!
The results are striking gifts coming from a love of simple beauty and a joy for making things by hand. In 2020, I opened Turquoise Turtle.  Making my idea of creating custom crafts and having my own studio a reality. 
P.S. We even have real turtles!  Up to seven at one point, but now just two.  A box turtle named B.B. (named after B.B. King), who's been in the family for almost 50 years!  And a tortoise named Wheezy, because he wheezes when he breathes. 
And so, the story of The Turquoise Turtle was born!
